At its meeting today, October 26, the government made a decision to organize a procurement process through a one-person procurement procedure.
In the justification of the decision, it is stated that the project is due to the need to organize a procurement process for the master plan development works and services within the framework of the “Academic City” project implementation.
The procurement process is organized by a one-person procurement procedure, so that the master plan development works (the successful implementation of which is decisive for the implementation of the project) can be carried out by an international high-ranking company that has exceptional and unprecedented experience in the development of components necessary for the implementation of the project.
Taking into account the experience and reputation of the “GMP International GmbH Architects and Engineers” company, established and operating in accordance with the laws of Germany in the field of architectural design, as well as the exclusive copyright for the construction of the transformer concert hall planned within the framework of the project, it was considered appropriate to order the development of the master plan for the “Academic City” project. to this company, which will cooperate with “Architecture and with the Foundation “National University of Construction of Armenia”.
For the implementation of the project, it was considered appropriate to order the University to provide all the necessary baseline data and other materials and information provided by RA legislation, taking into account the fact that the University is the only institution offering relevant architectural education and will provide a unique opportunity to involve students in the implementation of the Project.
If the project is accepted, the Committee of Higher Education and Science of KSMS will be allowed to purchase the services of the design works from the Company and the University through a one-person procurement procedure, which will provide an opportunity to properly implement the master plan development works for the “Academic City” project.
