Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a well-known supporter of Israel who is also close to Prime Minister Netanyahu, criticized the new Foreign Minister Eli Cohen for his silence regarding the war in Ukraine.
“I am happy to see that Mr. Cohen, Israel’s new foreign minister, has put the strategic relations between Israel and the US and humanitarian support in Ukraine as central issues.”
“Despite this, the idea that Israel should talk less about Russia’s criminal invasion of Ukraine is unpleasant to the ear.”
“I hope Mr. Cohen understands that when he talks to Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, he is talking to a representative of a war criminal regime that commits war crimes on an industrial scale every day.”
“The silence regarding Russian crimes will not be remembered well in history,” added Graham.
