Residents’ rights activist in south Tel Aviv, Shafi Paz, was attacked today (Saturday) by a left-wing activist in today’s confrontation between the parties and needed treatment. “Friday at noon. Havat Shalem. Event of the Elifelt association. We are protesting in front of them with signs and music” Paz wrote on her Twitter account.

“Immediately arrest the attackers and bring them to justice”

Member of Knesset Yitzhak Wasserlauf from the Jewish People’s Party, who also lives in south Tel Aviv, responded to the events: “I take very seriously the harm to the right-wing activist and my neighbor Shafi Paz. Shafi works night and day to restore security to the old residents of the neighborhood. I expect the police to immediately arrest the attackers and serve the law with them.”
