The metropolis of Lyon and Sytral, the Lyon transport network, formalized this Thursday the creation of this new service which will be integrated into the TCL network by 2025 to cross the Saône. It will thus be possible to connect in fifteen minutes the industrial districts, in Vaise, in the 9th arrondissement, to the quai Saint-Antoine on the Presqu’île, via the quai Saint-Vincent.

“Mobility that respects the environment”

The future 3.4 km link will be put into service in the spring of 2025 with a service from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and a boat every 15 minutes during rush hour “by the end of 2025”, announced Bruno Bernard, president of the metropolis. , by press release. A fourth stop, at Confluence, is also planned for a second time.

“The objective is to offer residents a new attractive and environmentally-friendly mobility solution, fully integrated into the TCL network, combining quality of service and the pleasure of sailing”, specified the president of the metropolis. According to forecasts from Sytral and the metropolis, attendance is estimated at 560,000 travelers per year.
