The Russian cycling team, CSK Moscow, after taking part in the 35th edition of the International Cycling Tour of Faso, included its participation, Monday November 4, 2024, at the headquarters of the Russian-Burkinabe association “African initiative”, in Ouagadougou, during a press conference.
The Russian cycling team, CSK Moscow, immediately thanked all the people of Burkina Faso for the friendship and hospitality received during the 35th edition of the International Cycling Tour of Faso. “We want to thank all the Burkinabè people for the warm welcome we received during this Tour du Faso.”said Nikolay Kadyashkin, coach of CSK Moscow.
The CSK Moscow team then expressed their satisfaction with the organization of the Tour and with security, knowing the security context in the country.
“We are satisfied with the level of security throughout the Tour. There were no concerns, especially regarding security.”successively emphasizing the cyclists in their interventions.
The Russian team was also enthusiastic about taking part in the next editions of the Tour

Anton Popov, the best Russian cyclist in the Tour du Faso 2024 edition
The climate is the only significant difficulty during the Tour, according to the Russian team. Everything, looking at the final classification, could not prevent the team, especially Anton Popov, from shining in the best possible way. He shared the friendly secret that allowed him to be among the best in the competition. “I play sports. I pay attention to my diet. Here’s the secret”he revealed.
The Russian team also shared the moment they experienced with the President of Faso. “We noticed that the President of Faso was very happy to receive us. We saw a man there who was very happy with what we were able to achieve during this Tour du Faso.”under the secret of Nikolay Kadyashkin.

It reinforced the importance of sports as a bridge between cultures and nations. It was a significant moment for our team and for promoting cycling in both Russia and Burkina Faso.
