In the mountains of Peru, the search continues for the 27th day for the Israeli Oren Zamir, who went hiking along a mountain track in the Cordillera Huayhuash Andes. The man was supposed to reach the final point of the route on April 24, but disappeared without a trace.

News.walla writes about this.

It became known that Oren went on a hike not alone, but together with several tourists from Spain, but then, apparently, he continued his journey on his own. Since then no one has heard anything about him. Communication with the Israeli was interrupted on April 14.

The men immediately sent a group of rescuers along the route, and they were also joined by representatives of the Israeli company Magnus and volunteers. Later, large police forces, professional climbers, and a squad that controls drones were involved in the search for the tourist.

Search teams said they continue to scan the area, giving preference to those areas where there is no cellular coverage. They also constantly have conversations with local residents and other tourists who follow the mountain route.

Let us note that the missing Oren Zamir works as a tourist guide in Jerusalem, and his father and uncle flew from Israel to Peru to help in the search.

“Cursor” wrote earlier that in April of this year, an Israeli died in Australia while climbing rocks while visiting the Isabela Falls.

We also wrote that a tragic incident occurred with a 30-year-old Israeli in Batumi (Georgia). The man, according to preliminary data, fell from a great height.
