Hello friends,
The search in the task bar (START) does not work.
It is not possible to type in it and even when you click on it and the window supposedly opens, it closes by itself before even showing anything.
I tried every fix I found online and it didn’t help.
I came across a post that said that certain fonts he installed caused the problem. I tried to remove fonts that I installed recently but it didn’t solve the problem.
Maybe it’s other fonts or a different problem altogether. I have no idea.

When I open a new user in Windows, the search indexing works as it should.
Update 2:
I changed the name of the folder Microsoft.Windows.Search_cw5n1h2txyewy in APPDATA and hopefully the problem was solved. Unbelievable how easy and simple it is.
Too bad it’s nowhere to be found online.
