More than 30 years have passed since the debut of “The Secrets of Twin Peaks”, a TV series created by David Lynch and Mark Frost. The first episode broadcast on April 8, 1990 in the US by the ABC network. The show, set in the homonymous and fictional town in the State of Washington, a few kilometers from the border with Canada, soon became a cult and still today considered one of the most influential series in history. One morning the tranquility of Twin Peaks shattered by the discovery of the body of high school student Laura Palmer, wrapped in a plastic sheet. The investigations are entrusted to the local police flanked by FBI special agent Dale Cooper. Soon not only sixteen-year-old Laura’s unsuspected double life emerges, but also the many secrets and dark side of an entire town. The question “Who killed Laura Palmer?” soon became a smash in the US and then also in Italy (Jennifer Lynch, daughter of the director, will publish the bestseller “The secret diary of Laura Palmer”). Even when the murderer is revealed, the suspense remains high, with increasingly disturbing and supernatural atmospheres.
