The daughter of Manuel Molina and Dolores Montoyathe duo that revolutionized flamenco, performs on Friday at the Teatre de Blanes inside the FlamenGi festival, the Flamenco Festival of Girona, which from November 10 to 26 will bring fifteen shows to stages in the capital, Fig trees or the Bisbal d’Empordà.

“I interpret them with the stamp that characterizes us, i they are part of me, but they are unrepeatable“, continues the singer, who assures that she does not want to “do anything out of the ordinary, because they are perfect songs in themselves” and it makes her “angry that someone distorts them”.
“It is natural for me to have been born in a house full of music, and moreover, exquisite music is my way of life. Around the age of fourteen or fifteen I did begin to understand how important I was to others, however I have always felt accompanied by my parents’ love and good music», states Molina when asked when he began to be aware of what Lole y Manuel represented for flamenco music.
