The company Golden Hand SA delivered this Tuesday, December 10, 2024 to the Ministry in charge of the economy, the first tranche of gold consequently of the processing of a cargo of fine coal from IAMGOLD Essakane SA. These are 44 gold bars.
In the case of the Prime Minister, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, these strong 93.197 kg will contribute to the supply of the national gold reserve.

By receiving this first tranche of gold consequently of the processing of 142.37 tons of mining residues, the Head of Government recalled that Burkina Faso wished to assert itself and assume its dominance in all areas by placing emphasis especially in the mining sector.
According to Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, fine coal from Burkina Faso will no longer be processed outside the country. Burkinabè chemists will process it to help consolidate the country’s economy for lasting endogenous progress that will be beneficial to all.
