It’s eight o’clock in the morning, the founder of the Gorillas delivery service is sitting on a balcony in Istanbul, apologizing to the almost 700 people he sees on his screen for inviting them early. “It’s important,” says Sümer. The fact that he gives his address on his birthday from his hometown, which he mentions in passing, gives the event a touch of pathos. “We have created something that is bigger than we are,” says Sümer.
