Apple TV+ released the first official trailer for Tetris, the movie based on the true story of the famous block puzzle video game. The film will arrive exclusively on Apple’s subscription service in March.

The trailer introduces us to the story of Henk Rogersa businessman and video game designer whose goal is to secure the publishing rights of Tetris in the U.S. This will be a difficult task, since the game was created in the Soviet Union in the mid-eighties and during the Cold War. Rogers will have to face not only the demanding and unfair regulations of the Soviet government, but also those who will want a piece of the video game industry cake at all costs.

The movie stars Egerton Conference (Kingsman) as Henk Rogers and Nikita Yefremov like Alexey Pajitnov, the creator of Tetris. Other well-known personalities from the video game world such as Hiroshi Yamauchi, president of Nintendo and Howard Lincoln, CEO of Nintendo of America, will appear in the film played by renowned actors.

Tetris comes to Apple TV+ on March 31st.
