Then I heard someone say hello behind me and I turned to see who it was. It was an old woman with matted hair who said she lived here with her family a long time ago when she was young. She told me that she used to climb that tree every night before bed to get into her bed because she didn’t have stairs at home like we have now, so that’s why these beds are here now.
