The Civil and Criminal Chamber of the Superior Court of Madrid has agreed to repeat a trial held last June in the Provincial Court for the violent death of the owner of a bar in the San Blas neighborhood during a robbery. Its establishment occurred in 2020. The magistrates uphold the Prosecutor’s appeal in its entirety and return the case to the Sixth Section of the Madrid Court upon understanding that after the hearing with the Popular Jury, ‘defects’ were detected in the verdict.
