Manolo Garcia i Chemistry Portet have gotten back together in a studio to re-record 24 of the most emblematic tracks ofThe last on the linefrom ‘Insurrección’ to ‘Querida Milagros’, in a new album, ‘Desbarajuste pyramidal’, which will go on sale on December 1.
The last one in line is going part amicably in 1998, but even then García and Portet said that “the decision it was not an end” of their collaboration, as recalled this Friday in a statement from Warner Music.
Now they have reunited for re-record these 24 tracks in a project that will go on sale in two formats: a box with 3 LPs and 2 CDs or just the 2 CDs.
Fans who pre-order the disc after September 22nd will receive one more card personally signed by both.
With new arrangements and instrumentation, Manolo García and Quimi Portet have returned to play all the instruments in these new versions, which also include songs such as ‘El loco de la calle’, ‘Lejos de las leyes de los hombres’, ‘Aviones plateados’ , ‘Como un burro moorado en la puerta del dance’ or ‘Cuando el mar te tenga’.
