In the words of the statement, the selection of a person to head the Prosecutor’s Office ensures the independence, autonomy and timely transition in this entity, thus preventing the weakening of justice in the country.
The Human Rights Office highlights the gender approach in the selection of the three jurists chosen by President Petro, underlining the importance of inclusion and diversity in this process.
