New trailer sets the mood for the third season

The third season of The Witcher will be released at the end of June. A new trailer gives a preview of the latest episodes with Henry Cavill.
Netflix wants its subscribers to look forward to the third season of the fantasy series “The Witcher”. The streaming service has an impressive more than two and a half minute trailer released. It is apparently dramatic: “For the first time I understand what true fear means. The dangers that we have seen are signs of an even more threatening future.”
New “The Witcher” season appears in two parts
From June 29, the streaming service will show the new episodes in two blocks, which will be the last ones starring Henry Cavill (40) as Geralt of Rivia. Episodes one to five can be seen first, and then episodes six to eight can be streamed on Netflix from July 27th.
In the fourth season, Liam Hemsworth (33) takes over as the new main actor. This was first announced in October 2022. “I will lay down my medallion and swords for season four. In my place is the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth taking up the mantle of the White Wolf.” Cavill himself confirmed on Instagram at the time.
At the end of May it was announced that a fifth season is already planned, even if the third is still starting. Sophie Holland, the casting director of the Netflix show, had told the industry portal “Deadline”.: “We’re about to start shooting season four with Liam Hemsworth. After a short break we’ll start production on season five straight away.”
