The launch of the Seed of Manager program, supported by the company Djago International, took place this Thursday, September 14, 2023 in Ouagadougou. This program is an initiative which aims to improve the employability of Burkinabe youth by initiating a competition rewarding the best institutes in Burkina. At this launch, it was the Institut Supérieur de Technologies (IST) which won the prizes.

Students from ISPP, IBAM, IST, in the fields of accounting, human resources and payroll, competed on software management concepts through the Seed of Manager program this Thursday September 14, 2023 within the ISPP.
For the organizers, it is a question of introducing these different young people to this software in order to facilitate their professional integration. “ It is an initiation and training program for students in different universities. We initiate these young people, to enable them to later be employers in the professional field”introduced Aka Jean Fabrice, member of the organizing committee of the initiative.
To do this, according to Yolande Moné, sales administrator at Djago International, training will be provided to trainers who will then serve as relays to the students. With the ambition, they say, to cover all the institutes in the country.
« The objective of Djago International is to extend this project throughout Burkina Faso and Africa. Our goal is to be able to teach this management software in all universities in order to enable our young people to be autonomous. Otherwise the program itself started in 2011. But this time it’s a launch, so we want to do everything so that many people benefit,” said Yolande Moné.
An initiative that the Students welcomed. Indeed, according to Wya Paule Sandrine, a student at IST, it is a feeling of joy that drives her. However, his opponent from ABAM, Sébastien Ouédraogo, wanted the project to open up to several establishments in the years to come, given its relevance.
« I want to ask the organizers to find more establishments in the coming years. Also you have to choose specific materials in relation to the competitors. Because we have seen accounting students find themselves competing in human resources management. Otherwise, apart from that, we can only wish good luck to the activity,” he wished.
