Drinking water is more scarce during summer. There is no seating for passengers. Due to this, elderly people, children and pregnant women get sick.
The underground drain at the entrance of the bus stand has been open for many years.
It is about four feet deep. There is a risk of children slipping and falling in.
As the nearby shopkeepers throw bottles and garbage in it, the waste water stagnates. Due to this, rainwater accumulates at the bus stand during the rainy season without any way out, causing inconvenience.
Parking and leaving vehicles at ‘no parking’ areas should be regulated.
Repair the damaged bus stand roof. He said basic facilities should be improved.
