“There is no connection between the war in Ukraine and the nuclear talks in Vienna”

Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian said today (Tuesday) during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow that “there is no connection between the situation in Ukraine and the nuclear talks in Vienna.”

Lavrov, for his part, said, “We have received guarantees from the United States that the sanctions imposed for the war in Ukraine will not harm our economic cooperation with Iran.”
