These are the 143 municipalities with stressed areas in which the Government wants to limit rent

The Government has started this Thursday the process for expand from 60 to 143 the number of municipalities considered stressed areas where the rental price limitation provided by the Housing Law (12/2023). He Official Journal of the Generalitat of Catalonia (DOGC) has published the information on the process that includes the justification of the criteria for choosing these locations.

These are the locations where the Govern aspires to contain rents, as long as the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda gives the go-ahead, once the report has been sent to the State and the allegations of the affected municipalities.
