A request for help circulates through social networks for a young Cuban with a colostomy, who does not have the resources to deal with his health situation.
The request was made by his mother, Sandra Acuña Morales, who said that the boy’s name was Luis Ernesto Núñez Acuña.
“I am asking for help from anyone who is most willing to help me and my son. They operated on him on February 25 for an intestinal obstruction and gave him a colostomy. In this country, unfortunately, there are no collection bags for colostomies; “A good friend sorted out a few bags for me, but they only give me for this week,” explained the Cuban mother.
Acuña Morales mentioned that she has a medical certificate for the pharmacy, however, this is not very useful, since in establishments of this type, medical supplies have been lacking for a long time.
“I’m desperate, I don’t know what I’m going to do next week when I see that I no longer have bags, I don’t know who to turn to, because they always give the same answer (there isn’t any, what are we going to do?). I am desperate, I don’t know what will happen to me and my son when he no longer has anything to give him,” Acuña mentioned.
The woman also added that she had two heart operations, which is why she prays to God to give her strength to continue fighting for her son.

“I strongly ask anyone who can help me, even if it’s two here, one there and so on until the year I have surgery again and put my anus back in its place. I’m asking you please, I’m begging you. I can’t take it anymore, my son searched on social media today and saw that they were selling a box for 18,000 pesos. Right now I can’t pay that money, because I’m not working to take care of him, because he is physically and psychologically affected, he only has 23 years. Please I need you to help me, I need you to move his heart and help me. Sandra Acuña Morales, a mother who is suffering,” the mother concluded.
It is worth noting that the woman must be contacted through social networks, since she did not leave a telephone number for them to contact her, in the absence of any donation for the young man with a colostomy.
