On the GoFundMe fundraising platform, a request for help was published to cover the funeral expenses of a young Cuban who died in a traffic accident in Miami.
The publication detailed that the proceeds are intended to cover the funeral costs of Cirilo Ruiz, who tragically lost his life on April 23, 2024.
In the event that the collection reaches a higher amount than what the boy’s wake warrants, the surplus will be given to his family.

“Ciri, as we affectionately knew him, left a void that was impossible to fill. With dreams and goals to fulfill, her departure leaves her parents, Cirilo and Mylen, as well as her sisters Gretel and Liset, mired in deep pain. Those of us who had the privilege of knowing Ciri remember her kindness, unmatched joy and charisma. Her legacy will live on in our hearts forever. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in easing the financial burden on the family in this time of loss. Thank you for joining us in honoring Ciri’s memory and providing support to her beloved family,” the post reads.
It is worth noting that this young Cuban was the grandson of Maribel Moreno, a lady who was for many years secretary of Monsignor Adolfo Rodríguez and Monsignor Juan García, Bishops of Camagüey.

Until the moment this note was published, almost 300 people had made donations to Ruiz’s family, which is immersed in deep pain due to the boy’s sudden departure.
