Through social networks, a complaint circulated about a Cuban who is allegedly dedicated to defrauding several owners of both bars and cabarets in the province of Mayabeque.
According to a post posted on Facebook by user Telo González, the scammer in question goes by the name of Junior Arley Marchego, who promises establishment owners to bring comedians in exchange for half of the fees in advance.
However, the supposed artist producer never keeps his word and keeps the money without showing up on the day of the performance.
“This man calls himself: Producer of Artists. He goes to bars and cabaret, convinces their owners that he is going to bring comedians and asks for half of the fees. On the day of the performance he does not appear, pocketing the advance money.”
The testimony also indicates that the alleged Cuban scammer resides in Santa Cruz del Norte and used the number 5358338173 to contact him and complete the deal, but then stopped responding to that number.
The complainant warns that Marchego could try to deceive other private business owners in other provinces where they do not know him, so he asks to be attentive and not fall into his trap.

It also asks comedians not to be seduced by their false job offers and to report any scam attempts.
“It operates in the Mayabeque region, but threatens to expand to other provinces where it is not known”mentions the complaint.
The publication was accompanied with images of both the face and documents of the scammer, where González stressed the importance of making the case known among the owners of this type of establishments, as well as comedians.
