These events occurred on the morning of this April 10th inside a home located on streets of the Cardenista colony which is located on the side of the state highway that connects the towns of Ixbiapan y Villa Comoapanthis in the state of Veracruz.
According to local media reports, armed individuals arrived at the house to open fire on the inhabitants. After the act, those responsible fled in a vehicle.

The neighbors heard the gunshots so they called the security authorities and emergency bodies to attend to the case.
Paramedics and municipal police arrived at the site and found three people dead and two more injured.
The deceased are a woman 43 years of age – identified as Bertha J.C. and who would be the wife of the “witch” -, a minor of 16 years -call Claudia and son of Bertha- already one more of 12 years -called Ivan, also son of the deceased.
A small of 9 years -identified as Matilde- and a man of 57 years -called Felipe Acuna and who would dedicate themselves to Santeria and witchcraft – are the injured people left by the armed attack.
These last two had to be transferred to the Civil Hospital ‘Dr. Bernardo Peña from the municipality of San Andrés Tuxtla, due to the severity of their injuries.

Elements of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Veracruz (FGE) and its experts to carry out the corresponding procedures and remove the bodies of the woman and her two minor children.
Elements of the National Guard (GN) and Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) were also present in the area to mount a security operation and find those responsible for the attack.
As of now, the murderers have not been identified and there are no arrests in this case.
