They present the ‘Mexico Pavilion’ towards the 2026 Soccer World Cup

Facing the Soccer World Cup 2026which will have among its headquarters the Aztec stadium in the capital of the country, the morenistas Marcelo Ebrard and the candidate for Coyoacán mayor’s office, Hannah de la Madridpresented the project of “Mexico Pavilion”.

At the event, the Morenistas explained that this project intends to transform the neighborhood of Saint Ursulawhere it will be the inaugural venue for said sporting event.

“With the World Cup we have the opportunity to make a change, with this project we seek to show the world a strong and united Mexico, a country that has everything. Our intention is that from day 1 of government, because we are going to win, we will start the construction of the Mexico Pavilion. We are going to promote tourism and economic development, so that our neighbors and Mexicans have the certainty that we are going to be better,” declared Hannah de Lamadrid.

Marcelo Ebrard, coordinator of links with civil organizations and Mexicans abroad of the campaign Claudia Sheinbaumhighlighted that the Mexico Pavilion is a far-sighted project with a social, economic and ecological dimension, which will not only work for the 2026 World Cup but will last in Coyoacán and the country.

The Morenistas reported that the initiative will be sent this week to the FIFA for approval, regardless of the electoral process.
