Thiruvananthapuram – Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar has been appointed personal staff. There are 20 personnel in the staff. The understanding in the LDF is that a maximum of 25 people can be appointed. Antony Raju, who was the transport minister, completed two and a half years, and KB Ganesh Kumar became the minister instead. About 20 people from Antony Raju’s staff have been removed from the new appointment. All of them are eligible for pension as they have completed two and a half years.

The minister, who hails from Kollam district, appointed more staff from his own district. CPM organization leader A.P. Rajeev has been appointed as the Assistant Private Secretary, KSRTC Executive Director (Vigilance) G. Anil Kumar as the Assistant Private Secretary and Zoology teacher Ranjith from Kollam as the Assistant Private Secretary.
