“One day after the GN illegally expropriated the golf course in Huatulco out of revenge, I asked for photos to be taken, 8 days after the Government took it to ‘take care of it’, this is what it looks like,” he noted.
“EYE!!! This is how they want to leave the entire country and only because of the tantrum of a small group of thieves who bother them when they are questioned about how much money they, their family and friends are stealing,” he remarked.
“On June 2, go out and vote and you decide if you want a Mexico full of life or a dry one full of hate,” he concluded his message.
On March 14, elements of the National Guard were deployed in the vicinity of the golf club, operated by Ricardo Salinas Pliego’s business group through a concession that expired in 2027; However, the federal government declared it a protected natural area through a decree of February 26.
The Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (Profepa) assured that the deployment of elements of the National Guard (GN) was due to the report of the presence of some armed people.
Through a statement, Profepa indicated that it responded to complaints presented by the National Fund for Tourism Promotion (Fonatur) regarding the entry of people from outside the Tangolunda National Park.

He added that he carried out a visit to corroborate that the seals from the closure carried out on March 8 had not been violated.
He also noted that the verification visit concluded on Friday, March 15, with the Profepa inspectors and the elements of the National Guard who accompanied the procedure leaving the site.
Salinas Pliego assured that the concessions that allowed him to operate the Tangolunda golf club remain in force, despite President Andrés Manuel López Obrador stating otherwise.
