The adoption of this Roadmap made it possible to strengthen the strategic partnership, affirmed Mr. Sanchez during a press conference which concluded his working visit to the Kingdom, noting that bilateral relations are experiencing their “best moment” .
In this sense, he described relations between Morocco and Spain as “extraordinary and positive”, specifying that they cover several areas, notably commercial, tourist, security and migration.
Mr. Sanchez further indicated that his working visit to Morocco is part of a shared desire to further strengthen bilateral relations which are “strategic for both countries”.
The President of the Spanish Government assured, in the same sense, that the two parties continue the implementation of the projects adopted on the occasion of the High-level Meeting of 2023, especially in the areas of education, cooperation cultural and social security which, he said, is of great importance for Moroccans residing in Spain.
Furthermore, Mr. Sanchez indicated that his working visit to Morocco was an opportunity to discuss several regional and international issues.
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God help him, received, earlier in the day at the Royal Palace in Rabat, Mr. Pedro Sanchez, President of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain.
This visit is part of the continuity of the new phase of bilateral relations, begun since the meeting between His Majesty the King, may God glorify Him, and the President of the Spanish government, in April 2022, and the adoption, on this occasion , of the Joint Declaration between the two countries.
