After well-known incident in which he killed a catAntonio Tiberi was fired by Trek and there were rumors as to his fate. Today they have become official, as Bahrain announced the signing of the talented Italian rider.

“After a forced break I’m going to suffer a bit to gain rhythm, but I want to compete again as soon as possible,” said the rider. “I am training at altitude and I will be in Switzerland next week”, completed the former world junior time trial champion.

Tiberi had had a great start to the course, with two top 10 overall in the Tour Down Under and the UAE Tour.

Bahrain’s manager -Milan Erzen- highlighted the athlete’s incorporation into sports and stressed that the runner acknowledges that he did something wrong in the incident that made him famous lately, something that they aim to improve by working together.
