The reasons for the strike

In a joint note, the unions explained the reasons for the strike: “The protest was proclaimed for the renewal of the national collective bargaining agreement which had expired for more than three years”. The trade unions recall that approximately 2.8 billion euros have been allocated to companies as “coverage of the lost revenues deriving from the sale of travel tickets. Against this substantial compensation paid by the Ministry, this delay is unjustifiable and we ask Mims to support the dispute in progress, since the public refreshments provided exceed 2 billion and therefore the employees of the sector have the right to renew the collective agreement “.
