As more than 6 months have passed since the TNPSC Group 4 results were conducted, the expectations regarding the results are widely increasing among the candidates.
Previous Years TNPSC Group 4 Exam Result Release Dates:
In 2013, it took almost 9 months to announce the results of Group 4 for 5,566 posts, in 2016 and 2019, the results were announced at a gap of approximately three months. But now 6 months have passed since the results of the written exam have been completed, the results of the exam have not been released officially.
It is said that this delay may be due to the implementation of some changes in the system of reservation for women in government jobs. Also, reports suggest that TNPSC is planning to increase the group vacancies announced earlier.

The Selection Board has been implementing various reforms to make the examination process fair and honest. However, the candidates are demanding to release the exam results within the stipulated time frame so that they can prepare themselves for their upcoming life journeys.

Activities related to Group 4 Examination:
Group 4 posts have single stage selection process. The students are finally selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. However, the selection process takes at least one year to complete. The written test will be conducted and the preliminary results will be announced. Then, TNPSC will publish the list of those who will be called for online certificate verification. Online will publish list for counseling after completion of certificate verification.
Shortlisted candidates are called to the office of the Selection Board and allotment of work and units is done on the spot with the help of information technology according to the existing vacancies according to their preference. At the end of each day’s consultation, details of remaining vacancies will be released.
