Inflation drops to 3.2% in May
The annual consumer price index (CPI) stood at 3.2% in May, which represents a drop of nine tenths compared to April, while the underlying index –which does not include unprocessed food or energy products– it fell by half a percentage point, to 6.1%, according to advanced data this Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
