This Thursday was Toni Soler’s last day at the head of theIt’s happening from TV3. The presenter has said goodbye to the followers of the program, assuring that, although the boss tells him it’s time to stop, the heart makes him miss the team and the viewers a little. “I’m leaving you in very good hands. I’m a very lucky person because of the co-workers I have and the family I have,” explained Soler, who excitedly confessed that his family members were on set today. “May humor rule us always”, wished the presenter when saying goodbye to the viewers.
In his farewell Soler was accompanied by Jair Domínguez and Òscar Andreu, who did not stop making jokes about the presenter’s farewell. theIt’s happening has paid tribute to its presenter by recalling some of the most outstanding figures from his time on the show: almost 7 seasons, 1,269 broadcasts and two complaints, the one filed by the cops’ union for the gag that compared the police to dogs and the lawsuit for the sketch about the Virgin Mary of the Dew. The presenter thanked both Domínguez and Andreu for making him laugh so much during the years they worked together.
During the show, Soler got emotional a couple of times. One of them when during the usual connection with Toni Cruanyes he thanked him for all the years of laughter. The presenter admitted that he was “soft” by the farewell.
Taking advantage of the fact that the year is about to end, Soler wished that 2024 would bring love and empathy to Catalonia and that the exiles would be able to return home.
An announced goodbye
Last Saturday Toni Soler visited the set of Col·lapse and announced that this Thursday would be the last It’s happening that would present “I’ve enjoyed it a lot. I’ve had a blast because I work with colleagues who make me laugh a lot. I’m sick of laughing with all the colleagues in theIt’s happeningbut it’s work and it was time to leave it,” he confessed. “I wanted to leave the showcase because viewers have seen me on TV since 1996. And both the audience of TV3 and me we deserve some fresh air,” he commented jokingly.
Soler already advanced in September that his intention was to be less and less present in the program because he had other professional projects that required his attention. In an interview with The world in RAC1 he detailed that he would step aside and that from then on it would be common for theIt’s happening other members of the space team would present it on a rotating basis. So, in recent months the program has been presented, among others, by Natza Farré, Òscar Andreu, Jair Domínguez or Queco Novell, who joined the program at the beginning of November. Once the viewer has become accustomed to the rotating presenters, Soler disappears from the program for good.

“I have been with theIt’s happening and I need the scheme to change a little bit,” Soler explained to The world in RAC1. Among the projects that the communicator currently has in hand, the film stands out our father, about the fall of Jordi Pujol. Toni Soler has written the script, while Manuel Huerga is the director. The film is scheduled to be released in 2024.
