Power sector company Torrent Power has recently released its financial results for the September quarter. Torrent Power has reported a net profit of Rs 484.19 crore for the September 2022 quarter. This is 31 percent higher than the same quarter last year. For the September quarter of 2021, Torrent Power had posted a net profit of Rs 368.84 crore.
Torrent Power has generated a total revenue of Rs 6,797.2 crore in the September quarter of 2022. This is higher than the same quarter last year. In the September quarter of 2021, Torrent Power had earned a total revenue of Rs.3,683.69 crore. Torrent Power has distributed electricity to over 39.4 lakh customers worth around Rs 2,600 crore.
At the close of trading on the Mumbai Stock Exchange on Friday, the stock price of Torrent Power was up 1.13 percent to Rs 549.00 from the previous trading day.
