He had everything I wanted in a man. With the death of his child (which he had with another woman), he was so mentally broken that it was just a matter of somehow surviving. We met shortly after his relationship was broken by the tragic bereavement. At first he was sensitive, intelligent and made our lives interesting and humorous. We were a “dream team”. At least I thought so.
