The trading date for shares of Webquotes plc raised from the SME platform on the capital market has been set. Trading of the company’s shares is starting from Monday (March 11) on both the stock markets.
On Sunday (March 10), this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).
According to the information, the trading code of Web Coats on DSE and CSE is – ‘WEBCOATS’. The company’s trading code on DSE is – 79001.
Earlier, the QIO application of the company started from 10 am last February 13. The application will be accepted till 4:30 pm on February 19.
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) approved the company’s QIO in the 890th commission meeting of BSEC on December 5 last year.
According to the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Qualified Investor Offer by Small Capital Companies) Rules, 2022, Webquotes will issue 5 million ordinary shares of PLC and raise capital of Tk 5 crore. Each share will be issued to eligible investors through QIO at a price of Tk 10.
By raising capital through the QIO, the company will spend on purchasing new equipment, working capital, debt repayment and issue management.
According to the company’s financial statement for the period up to June 30, 2023, the Earnings Per Share (EPS) stood at Rs 1.50 and the Net Asset Value (NAV) per share stood at Rs 15.92.
The issuing company cannot issue any bonus shares for the next 3 years from the date of transaction on the SME platform. Sonali Investments Limited is responsible for the issue management of the company.
