Muscovites are already using the new route and everyone is happy that in a few minutes on the road from the region you can fly twenty kilometers without a single traffic light, and not stand in traffic jams, as before on Dmitrovka.
But the problem is that when you get to Dmitrovskoe highway at the entrance to Moscow, you still run into a traffic jam. As Rafik Zagrutdinov, head of the Moscow Construction Department, told an RG correspondent in an interview, this is happening because part of the road has not yet been completed.
“We’ll build a 2.5-kilometer flyover through Dmitrovka next year, and then it will be possible to fly to the east of the city in 20 minutes,” the head of the department said.
