Mangaluru: The Mangaluru-Mumbai flight was delayed for six hours due to a suspicious message received on the passenger’s mobile phone. The woman’s complaint about the message received on the mobile phone of the fellow passenger caused the flight to be delayed. Dramatic incidents took place on Sunday night in an Indigo flight from Mumbai to Mangaluru.
Following the complaint, all the passengers were asked to get off the plane. After that, the luggage was checked again. Permission to fly was given after ensuring that there were no sabotage attempts. A young woman alerted the cabin crew to a message on a fellow passenger’s mobile phone. They brought this to the attention of the Air Traffic Controller. The plane, which was ready for take-off, was brought back to the bay for inspection.
Meanwhile, the traveler was chatting with his girlfriend. This friend was waiting to board the same flight in Bengaluru. City Police Commissioner Sasikumar stated that it was a friendly chat between friends about security. But as the interrogation lasted for hours, he could not travel by plane. The girlfriend was also unable to board the flight. Then at 5 pm all 185 passengers were allowed to board the flight. Later the flight took off for Mangaluru.
