Triumph Motorcycles Teases Launch of Daytona 660 Super Sport Fairing in Mid-Size Motorcycle Market
Triumph Motorcycles has announced the much-anticipated launch of the Daytona 660, a super sport fairing motorcycle, in the mid-size motorcycle market on January 9, 2024. The new model is expected to come equipped with an in-line three-cylinder 660cc engine and is rumored to be priced in the range of Rs 8.50-10 lakh in the Indian market.
Based on the existing Trident 660 bike, the Daytona 660 shares key components including the engine and frame, while also featuring two-segment LED headlights for a rugged and stylish look. The inline three-cylinder 660cc engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 81hp at 10,250 RPM and 64Nm of torque at 6,250 RPM, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.
In addition to its powerful engine, the Daytona 660 is expected to come with a range of electronic features, including riding modes, a bi-directional quick shifter, and a traction control system. Other features include up side down telescopic forks, a split seat, alloy wheels with Michelin Road 5 tires, and a circular fully digital instrument cluster with key connectivity features.
