Donald Trump won the Republican Party’s internal elections in two additional US states, Missouri and Michigan, according to media reports, taking a step forward towards obtaining the party’s nomination for the presidential elections in November.

In Missouri, the billionaire Republican crushed his rival, Nikki Haley, by winning all the caucuses held in the state, according to the New York Times.
In Michigan, Trump won the votes of all 39 delegates who received the votes of about 2,000 voters during an electoral caucus, according to CNN.
Earlier in the week, Trump picked up the votes of Michigan’s 16 remaining delegates selected in a primary.
On Saturday, Republicans voted in a third state, Idaho, to choose their candidate, but the result was not announced immediately.
The elections in Missouri, Michigan and Idaho are internal ballots with different rules and in some cases reflect disagreement and tension despite Trump’s influence.
The former president won every primary election held so far. His new victories come on Saturday, three days before “Super Tuesday” on March 5.
“Super Tuesday” will witness primary elections in 15 states, and it is expected to finally determine Trump’s superiority in the race to obtain the Republican Party nomination over his only competitor, Haley.
