Sidewalk and road closures were in effect in West Palm Beach on Saturday due to filming for an unnamed television show. City officials issued notice of the project on Friday, detailing specific locations and times of disruption. the production is for the new ABC drama “RJ Decker,” which premieres at 10 p.m. on March 3.
Courthouse area Impacted for Several Hours
from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m., filming took place outside the Palm Beach County Courthouse and the 1916 Historical Courthouse. Closures included public sidewalks along North Dixie Highway between Banyan Boulevard and Third Street, as well as the southbound lane of North Dixie Highway. “Filming may stop traffic for upward of 10 minutes while cameras are rolling,” the city stated. “As they reset and prep, officers will direct traffic.”
Residential Street also Used for Filming
An additional filming location was set up at a house located at 218 Pershing Way, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. The road closure affected through traffic only, allowing residents access to their homes at all times.
