On the official Twitter account of former Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (35), a photo of the Austrian delegation visiting Brussels was tweeted on Thursday, along with the sentence: “My first trip as Federal Chancellor takes me to Brussels today.”

On Monday Schallenberg took over the office of Chancellor from Kurz, Kurz resigned on Saturday due to allegations of corruption and bribery.
