The love story of Nasreen Kadri and Rom Shamir is one of the most dizzying we have seen here – after it was first published about their relationship last December, the two soon got engaged and even announced their first pregnancy, and yesterday they got married. Apparently the cliché is true – when it’s it, you know. The exciting wedding included performances by Natan Goshen, Sarit Hadad and even Nasreen herself, but we gathered here to discuss the most important part of any wedding – the wedding dress.

Like most modern brides, Nasreen really did not settle for a single dress, replacing a total of three locks. The first dress, for the wedding ceremony, is designed by Dror Contento, who just yesterday opened the first day of Tel Aviv Fashion Week.

“Once Nasreen came to me, we quickly decided what dress we were going to make,” says the designer. ‘We’ve known each other for so many years, Nasreen is my soulmate and I decided to design her first canopy dress with her.

We went for the most classic model that could be. “We are always used to seeing Nasreen perform on stage, giving a show at the level of international stars, and this time on the night of the canopy we wanted to bring it very clean and elegant, to walk on a clean line without inlays and stones.”

The result is a dress with a clean, but not minimalist design, with a neckline that simulates a shell with falling sleeves and a particularly rich and long trail, which looks simply spectacular in the photos.

After the canopy, Nasreen changed into a dress by designer Ilanit Mizrahi – an asymmetrical and tight mini dress with long sleeves that ends with a feather touch and a shiny rhyme work on the side of the body. This minimalist line continued with the last garment as well – a tight white overall with prominent stitching in a corset cut, also designed by Mizrahi.
