Tiffany Mellon: From GLOW Star to Adult Film Icon and Bounty Hunter
A remarkable life journey has seen Tiffany Mellon navigate the worlds of professional wrestling, adult entertainment, and law enforcement, defying expectations at every turn. Mellon, known as Tyffany Million in the adult film industry, recently sat down with Wrestling Epicenter to recount her extraordinary story, revealing a career path as colorful as it is unconventional.
Mellon’s entry into the spotlight began with GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling), where she joined the cast for seasons 3 and 4. “I had just recently become a fan of the show,” she explained, recounting how she impulsively decided to audition despite lacking athletic prowess. Her audition was secured thanks to a connection, and she soon found herself face-to-face with Matt Cimber, son of the late Jane Mansfield and producer of GLOW. “So, GLOW was run by Jane Mansfield’s husband and son!” she exclaimed.
The training for GLOW was rigorous, a “weeding out process” that saw hundreds of hopefuls dwindle to a select few. Mellon described the living conditions as less than glamo
also recounted a notably daring moment during a match with her trainer, Ninotchka. Despite Cimber’s objections, they executed a superplex maneuver, a move that had never been attempted before in GLOW. “she had me on the bottom buckle for the superplex and she whispered in my ear, ‘Do you want to go for it?’ I said, ‘Let’s do it!’ and, she gave me the full superplex.”
Following her time with GLOW, Mellon embarked on a tour with All Japan Women’s pro-Wrestling (AJW), where she experienced a different level of respect for the sport. “That was the most respect I ever got as a wrestler,” she stated, describing the hardcore nature of Japanese wrestling, where competitors would intentionally cut themselves to enhance the spectacle.
however, Mellon’s departure from GLOW was marred by controversy. She revealed she was fired after security stopped her and her partner,Dementia (Nancy Daly),at a hotel, due to their open relationship. “They gave us our last checks. but, they didn’t give us our flight back home. They left us out in the snowy, icy Atlantic City to figure things out for ourselves.”
Mellon’s career took another unexpected turn when she entered the adult film industry. “I was watching adult movies with the father of my oldest daughter and I was like, ‘I could do so much better!'” she admitted. She quickly rose thru the ranks, becoming a Hall of Fame inductee, attributing her success to her work ethic and dedication. She even launched her own production company, producing seven films.
Currently,Mellon is planning to release a series of three books, detailing her life from her early years through GLOW,her adult film career, and her subsequent ventures into bail bonds and bounty hunting. She is also making a return to the adult film industry, fueled by a new relationship and a thriving OnlyFans presence. Beyond wrestling and adult entertainment, Mellon has also worked as a bail bondsman and bounty hunter, and even had a reality TV series in 2007. She noted that her career in adult films actually hindered a potential TV deal.
Looking back on her time in GLOW, Mellon believes the show was groundbreaking, even if it wasn’t “real wrestling.” “We pulled a lot of moves that the highly trained real wrestlers did. But,wrestling was more of a backdrop. It was a character driven, campy variety show that used wrestling as the common denominator.”
Tiffany Mellon’s story is a testament to resilience, reinvention, and a willingness to embrace the unexpected, solidifying her status as a true entertainer and a captivating figure in multiple worlds.
