According to France Inter, which obtained details from the French Embassy in Ukraine, a ship from the French company CMA-CGM will leave Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) “in the coming days”, notably loaded with ambulances and ‘construction machinery. It will head to Observation, in Romania, for unloading. The material will then be transported to Ukraine by road.

A large part of the aid is intended for the reconstruction of the city of Chernihiv, 130 km north of kyiv, and a few tens of kilometers from the border with Belarus. At the start of the conflict, when the Kremlin was thinking of taking the Ukrainian capital at full speed and deposing President Zelensky in the blink of an eye, the city of Chernihiv was attacked by columns of Russian tanks.
