The Ukraine-Russia conflict has wreaked havoc in Ukraine.

He promises to help revive his beloved Mariupol. He added that he would do his best to help rebuild the country as a whole.

Renat Akhmetov is the owner of Metinvest, the largest steelmaker in Ukraine. Mariupol is the city closest to his heart. He also owns the Shakhtar Donetsk football team. He owns two metal factories in Mariupol. According to Forbes Magazine, his net worth in 2013 was $ 15.4 billion. But at present it is down to $ 3.9 billion. His assets have been declining since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war in 2014. Renat, meanwhile, said he had lost all of his possessions in the post-war crisis in Crimea and the Donbass province.
