Ukrainian astronomers announced the fixation of a UFO flight over Kyiv

Three scientists from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine published a report that caused a significant resonance in the field of ufology and within the walls of the academy itself. The report noted that the main astronomical observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine recorded two types of unidentified air phenomena that could not be identified as known natural phenomena.

According to the American publication Skeptical Inquirer, Ukrainian scientists conditionally called the observed objects “space” and “phantoms”. The former are luminous objects, brighter than the sky background, while the latter are dark objects with a contrast ranging from a few to about 50 percent.

“Flights of single, group and squadron ships were recorded, moving at a speed of 3 to 15 degrees per second,” the report says. The objects, as determined by the researchers, were observed in the troposphere at distances up to 10–12 km. Their size is estimated from 3 to 12 meters and speed up to 15 km/s.

After some time, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine declared the article pseudoscientific in form and content, and the conclusions of the scientists – absurd, far-fetched. And Avi Loeb, the director of the Galileo project, in turn sent a comment that at such a speed, the objects would, in fact, be meteorites and simply burn out.
