Tehran/Geneva – The UN Human Rights Council has passed a resolution against Iran that seeks to independently investigate the violent crackdown by Tehran’s leadership against the protest movement. The majority of the body followed a request from Germany and Iceland on Thursday in Geneva. Experts are to document violations of human rights and collect evidence so that those responsible for the violence can one day be held accountable.
