Unexpected benefits of chocolate in the morning named

A group of scientists from Harvard Medical School and the Spanish University of Murcia have concluded that postmenopausal women are more effective in losing weight if they eat a little milk chocolate with their first meal.

The study involved 19 women, some of whom ate as usual, others ate 100 grams of milk chocolate in the morning, and still others an hour before bedtime. As it turned out, those who ate chocolate in the morning had a decrease in waist circumference and lowered blood glucose levels, while those who ate it in the evening had a slight decrease in appetite and cravings for sweets the next day.

The results obtained may require additional studies to confirm, since not too many volunteers participated in the study, and the results were based on the reports of the participants themselves.

The scientific work was published in The FASEB Journal.
